Drugs & Substance Abuse Campaign
The drug and substance abuse crisis is devastating families, communities, and an entire generation of young people across Kenya. From cheap opioids flooding informal settlements to alcohol abuse tearing apart households, the scale of the crisis demands more than slogans. It demands sustained, structured, community-rooted intervention. Stewards of Grace Ambassadors is responding with compassion, with evidence, and with urgency.
What We Do
- Prevention campaigns in schools, churches, and public spaces targeting young people aged 12–25
- Community awareness forums for parents, teachers, and community leaders on identifying and responding to substance abuse
- Referral linkages to certified rehabilitation and counselling centres
- Youth empowerment alternatives - sports, vocational skills, mentorship, and creative arts programmes
- Faith community engagement- equipping pastors and churches to respond to addiction in their congregations
- Policy advocacy for community-based rehabilitation resources and protective legislation
Who We Serve
We work with young people at risk, families affected by addiction, communities experiencing high rates of substance abuse, and frontline community leaders: teachers, pastors, parents, and local administrators, who need tools to respond.
Our Approach
We believe prevention is far more effective and far more humane than punishment. Our campaigns combine honest, age-appropriate education with positive alternatives that give young people something worth staying sober for. We never stigmatise, we restore.
