Disability Inclusion Programme

In Kenya, an estimated 4.6 million people live with a disability. The majority face systemic exclusion from education, employment, healthcare, and civic participation,not because of their condition, but because of barriers that society has built and has the power to remove. Stewards of Grace Ambassadors is committed to dismantling those barriers: physically, socially, and structurally.

What We Do

  • Assistive devices and mobility support for persons with physical disabilities
  • Inclusive education advocacy - ensuring schools accommodate children with disabilities
  • Economic empowerment - skills training and livelihood development tailored to PWDs
  • Community sensitisation campaigns on disability rights, language, and inclusion
  • Policy advocacy with the Competition Authority of Kenya (CAK) and other bodies on disability-inclusive markets and services
  • Disability rights awareness campaigns aligned with national and international frameworks

Who We Serve

SGA combines direct support with systemic advocacy. We do not simply provide assistive devices, we work to change the attitudes, policies, and structures that create disability barriers in the first place. Our approach is rights-based: we centre the voices and leadership of persons with disabilities in everything we do.
